New Album: Nomé

@Nome.lofty ’s Album „Theme Music“ ist draußen. Wir überlassen ihm das Wort dazu:
„If you were able to freeze your current mind state like a photograph and put it in a time capsule and bury it, how long would you wait until you dug it back up? A year? Two years? Thirty? I think for me, Theme Music is that exact experiment. I have a hard time holding on to a lot of things these days. It feels like my head is a scoop of ice cream on a hot steel playground slide in summer. And I’m sitting at the top of it, desperately trying not to let the whole thing run down the metal slope. Everything I experience goes by too fast to linger on it for as much time as it deserves. So here’s a way to linger on a thought indefinitely, except this capsule is very close to the surface and requires little digging to retrieve. I love every song on here so much and will hopefully cherish the memories I link to the process for the rest of my life.
I could talk about every feature and collaborator on here for an extensive amount of time, but trust me, I’m reserving my gratitude for when we speak in person.
I can’t wait to feel what it feels like to look back on this one. Thank you for listening and I hope the energy is felt.
Knowing that this is what you want to do with your life means accepting every album to be a brick in the wall of the house that is your career. But man… this house is gonna be pretty. Here’s to 30 years from now.“
